Business to business (B2B) outside sales representative, capable of creating and developing long-term relationships with business owners, CEOs, CFOs and other high level executives. Must be confident selling in a highly consultative new business development role offering solutions ranging from $30,000 – $250,000 or more.

Primary Functions

The Commercial Lines Technical Service Representative (TSR) is an important part of the commercial lines team.  Working closely with a team of brokers & CAE’s, TSR’s will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties related to accurate data input and modification of client data.  TSR’s will maintain strong working relationships brokers, CAE’s  and underwriters.  The keys to success in this role are having strong administrative skills and staying organized in a busy environment with changing priorities.

Major Responsibilities

  • Processes and reviews new policies for accuracy
  • Ensures accurate entry of information into policyworks & powerbroker
  • Processes and reviews renewals for accuracy
  • Processes and reviews endorsements for accuracy
  • Adjusts changes to billing when required
  • Follows up regularly on all processed documents to ensure new policies, renewals, endorsements, etc are processed properly by the insurance companies
  • Administrative tasks as required
  • Other duties as required.

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills;
  • Strong customer service focus with a highly professional attitude and approach to business;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills;
  • A professional telephone manner;
  • The ability to establish effective relationships with team members, staff, and clients;
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, agency management software)
